What a year!! As we conclude another beautiful school year at HCA, the only words I can muster are "thank you" - for your prayers, your time, your dedication and for sharing your children with us! It's always cliche, but always true - this year has flown by! As we wrap up this last week, take a moment to get those last minute pictures! We will see you on Wednesday and Thursday for our end of year chapel, with one last celebration to end the year!
Blessings! -Mrs. Rea
CRAZY HAIR DAY
MONDAY and TUESDAY are HCA's Crazy Hair Days! Students may come with whatever crazy hair they'd like!
END OF YEAR CHAPEL + NON-UNIFORM DAY
Please join us at 1pm in the Kelley Auditorium (our usual chapel spot) for our End of Year Chapel! School will be dismissed early (once chapel has concluded). Our students have worked hard and can't wait to share their recitations with you!
Additionally, students do not need to wear their uniforms for the last day of school.
YEARBOOKS!
You can now preorder your 24/25 HCA Yearbook! The links are below! Books are hardcover and full sover, designed by our high school class! Each book is $30. Thanks to our generous donors, you can also use the code: Family2025, and this code will give you one free book with the purcahse of two! (one per customer).
LIBRARY BOOKS
It's a good time to round up and return any library books! PLEASE make sure that all library books are returned to HCA before summer break!
EXAMS
Exams are happening and we need your help! Our exam volunteers make this all possible - so we invite you to come in for an hour (maybe more?!) and to listen to (and transcribe) all that our younger students have learned this term! Sign-ups are live in BAND.
25/26 HIGH SCHOOL COURSE SCHEDULE
Our course schedule is LIVE for 25/26! Also, if you have a student entering into high school OR if you have a current high schooler and would like more information about transcripts, stay tuned for upcoming announcements regarding our high school info nights!
24/25 BOOK FEES
Please note that if you haven't submitted the 24/25 Book Fees (originally assessed in September, 2024), that that amount will be added on to April's monthly payment. If you paid in full (and don't receive monthly invoices) you'll be getting an invoice reminder. ALL BOOK FEES ARE DUE BY MAY 1. Any questions - please email the office! (office@heritagechristianacademy.net)
25/26 INVOICES + FORMS
Paperwork and invoices are being sent out in the order that they were submitted! Please note that your 25/26 forms will be added to your CURRENT family portal. If you need that link resent to you, please contact Mrs. Kesler (l.kesler@heritagechristianacademy.net).
Please note, your forms will be active ONLY AFTER you have received the 25/26 invoice. Until that arrives via email, those forms will not appear.
ILLNESSES
Sadly, there are multiple strains of illnesses going around and we have been both short staffed and missing many of our students. PLEASE use extreme caution when sending your child to school if they aren't feeling well, keeping in mind that we have many large famillies, and sicknesses spread quickly between siblings. We want to be courteous and take every possible measure to contain these nasty bugs! Please refer to the handbook (in your Family Portal App) for our thresholds on fevers and sickness.
BUY/SELL/TRADE GROUP
Join the HCA Buy/Sell/Trade group on BAND! The link to join is posted in the Family Band
You'll be able to post items you’re looking to sell, buy, or exchange with fellow members.
AND
Promote your small business, side hustle, or services to the HCA community. Whether it’s tutoring, crafting, professional expertise, or anything else, feel free to share!
25/26 ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN!
The link to re-enroll at HCA for next year is now live in the Family Band and on our website!
We have almost finished processing applications, so if you have not received an enrollment email from us by the end of the week, please reach out! In several weeks, we will then open up any available spots to the general public.
CHAPEL OFFERING
Each year, HCA chooses a non-profit to partner with and we collect an offering during each chapel. The funds collected are then sent off to our chosen charity at the end of the year. This year, we are going to partner with Samaritan's Purse and raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. The comunities that were devastated by the hurricane will be rebuidling for years, so we will be talking about this charity all year long.
THANK YOU for your generosity diring our Christmas Chapel! We were able to raise $687 for Samaritan's Purse!
A YEAR OF PRAYER
In chapel, we’re focusing on prayer this year, and we’d love to know how we can pray for you. If you or your spouse are in full-time ministry or non-profit work, please let me know—we’d love to include you in our prayers. We’re also reaching out to local churches, so let us know if yours would like to connect. Feel free to email me at k.rea@heritagechristianacademy.net.
