Welcome back to Term 2!
We are so excited to welcome your students back for the start of Term 2! We hope you each had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed a well-deserved break!
We have a lot happening over the next few weeks leading up to Christmas Break and can't wait to share the next few weeks with you!

25/26 ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN!
The link to re-enroll at HCA for next year is now live in the Family Band!
Current HCA families will have 2 weeks to enroll for 25/26 before we open up enrollment to our Waiting List families (there are currently 80+ families on our waiting list!) on December 13. In January, we will then open up any available spots to the general public.
CHRISTMAS CHAPEL
We'd like to invite you to celebrate Christmas with us on Wednesday, 12/18 and Thursday, 12/19 at 1pm for our Annual Christmas Chapel! Each class has prepared a special piece to shrae with us in chapel, so please mark your calendars! Please also note that 12/18 and 12/19 are early dismissal days (students will be dismissed for holiday break following the conclusion of chapel that day).
CHRISTMAS COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER!
This year, HCA students will be selling yummy, homemade cookie dough (chocolate chip, white chocolate cranberry, sugar, and GF chocolate chip). Each order contains 2 dozen FROZEN cookie dough balls, ready to be thawed and baked for Christmas parties, gift giving or just because! These will also last for months in the freezer and are perfect for hosting or hostess gifts!

All orders will be ready for pickup on December 18 + 19 at HCA.
HOLIDAY BREAK
Please note that our Christmas Break begins immediately after Christmas Chapel on 12/18 and 12/19 and then students will return on Wednesday, 1/8 and Thursday, 1/9.
If your family is going to be absent for our Christmas Chapel (on December 18+19) PLEASE let their teacher know as soon as possible! Our teachers need to know if there are any planned absences for that day, so that they can plan the presentation accordingly.
CHAPEL OFFERING
Each year, HCA chooses a non-profit to partner with and we collect an offering during each chapel. The funds collected are then sent off to our chosen charity at the end of the year. This year, we are going to partner with Samaritan's Purse and raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. The comunities that were devastated by the hurricane will be rebuidling for years, so we will be talking about this charity all year long and will send in our final offering to them later this Spring.
SCHOOL LUNCHES
We’re thrilled to bring back school lunches this year! To order:
1. Head to the Parent Portal and click the lunch button,
2. Look under the “Parents” tab on our website, OR

Don’t forget—orders can be placed up to 6 days in advance but need to be submitted by 9:15 am on the day your child needs lunch. If you miss the cutoff, HMH lunches are still available at full price.

A YEAR OF PRAYER
In chapel, we’re focusing on prayer this year, and we’d love to know how we can pray for you. If you or your spouse are in full-time ministry or non-profit work, please let me know—we’d love to include you in our prayers.
